Flow around a submarine hull at a Re_L = 1.2e6 is numerically studied, and compared with experimental measurements and wall resolved numerical simulation. It shows the wall modelled large eddy simulation by using the developed diffusive interface IB-LBM solver is able to capture the pressure and fraction coefficient very well. See section III(B) in ref.
Flow around a cylinder in subcritical and supercritical regimes is numerically studied by using the wall modelled large eddy simulation with the developed IB-LBM solver. Which shows the diffusive IBM is able to capture the flow features more accurately than its sharp interface counterpart. See section III(D) in ref.
